SRI Test

It is preferable for each trailer yacht design to have an Self Righting Index (SRI) test completed.

Although not a prerequisite for registration of a design, an SRI test will provides an indication to owners and designers of a yacht's ability to slef right when heeled to 90 degrees under specified conditions.

NZTYA has kits available on request to enable owners and designers to undertake their own SRI tests.
